Computer Jobs in Sophia-Antipolis (France): GFI desperately seeks foreign graduates

The GFI Agency of Sophia Antipolis has developed a voluntary process of recruiting software engineers abroad.
GFI_.jpg Client companies of Sophia Antipolis SSII GFI are mostly international. Given the recruitment difficulties experienced by new European services companies, they have so no reluctance to integrate newly qualified consultants from universities and colleges in computer science or foreign management.

These companies are willing to take the step, and the language most commonly practiced in the area of information technology and communication, English, significantly reduces the cultural barriers when integrating.

Fewer candidates, more applications

The real race to graduate, in which all services companies of Sophia Antipolis are involved, promotes the internationalization of the teams.

In fact, in an area that includes so many business and computer technology, French schools certainly cannot provide number of graduates needed by these companies. It is therefore to bring the look further...

A long recruitment process, but a proven method

Thus, GFI has recruited abroad half of its graduates in 2010. No nationality has been promoted. However, the heaviness of the overall process inherent in hiring a foreign resource, pushes GFI strong focus on European candidates for which the formalities are now simplified.

But nothing seems final, and a sufficiently well qualified candidate, qualified from early stages of sourcing, keeps all its chances, regardless of their geographical origin.

It is interesting to note that despite the difficulties associated with this type of "distant recruitment”, teams GFI claim a remarkable presence at trade fairs and international forums for young graduates.

These teams had managed to overcome difficulties with a method without too many faults, including in particular the reimbursement of moving costs of selected resources and a "package" of aid to the installation (in case of success).

Whereby 4 out of 5 give a positive response and are hosted in one of the most beautiful regions of the world, which is said to represent the strongest French Riviera recruiter’s argument.
